Sevillanas – Castanets Arrangement (Coplas 1–4)
This course teaches a complete Sevillanas castanet arrangement for Coplas 1–4.
It is suitable for beginners who already know the basic castanet sounds, and for intermediate players.
You will also find a short video explaining the castanet sounds and the subtitle system used throughout the course.
The arrangement is comfortable to play and ideal for dancing later.
It does not require very fast or intense playing, yet it is musical and complete — suitable for any traditional Sevillanas music.
You can practise each copla step by step, at different speeds, with clear subtitles.
For every copla, there are two versions:
Con Cante — I sing the melody Mírala Cara a Cara softly, so you can feel the phrasing and how the castanets fit with the Sevillanas song.
Sin Cante — only the castanet pattern, for clean technical practice.
At the end of the course, you will find full-practice videos for Coplas 1–4 at two faster tempos, both with and without singing.
This course gives you a complete, practical, and musical Sevillanas castanet arrangement — ready to play on its own, or later together with Sevillanas dance.
